Research studies conducted by Philip Morris are now open to the public. Documents dating back to the 1980’s found secondhand smoke to be highly toxic, yet the cigarette companies suppressed their findings through the next two decades (American Lung Association). Over the past couple decade’s, tobacco use has been the causation for many of the deaths in America relating to cancer, heart attack, and stroke.
