The angle of vision I most sympathize with is making individuals aware to protect them from their poor decision making. To benefit everyone, whether they are smokers or not, the more aware everyone is the more willing people are to go out of their way to stomp out smokers killing themselves. I don’t believe that it is just the users awareness that should be targeted but the peers and caring neighbors to those who use to help them gain confidence in living free of the one in six deaths related to tobacco use across the United States (Jacobs). My solution to the problem is to make tobacco illegal to market. Addicted individuals are not able to stop because they don't reason their health is in danger. In order to save them, they need to be restricted of it. Already we see bans made locally but the United States has never attempted a nation wide ban of the product. Eventually there is going to be specific areas where tobacco use can be done, far from any congested public areas, schools, restraunts, hospitals, and much more.
